Searching for an Ultra Bee for sale UK-wide brings up two versions, two prices, two colours and a lot of listings that are not what they seem. Here are eight facts that sort it out: what the 2026 Ultra Bee HP is, X versus T, the real prices, how stock works, how to pay less, what delivery costs, what licence the T needs and what a used one is worth – from Surron E-Bikes in Coalville, Leicestershire.
Prices are correct at the time of writing; check the Ultra Bee HP product page for live stock by model and colour before you compare any Ultra Bee for sale UK listing.

Fact 1: every new Ultra Bee for sale UK-wide in 2026 is the HP
The current bike is the Ultra Bee HP – the high-performance version with a 24.5 kW peak motor, 520 Nm, Turbo mode, three-level traction control, an 18-inch rear wheel, 90% stiffer brake callipers, a belt primary drive and an app with anti-theft alerts. The standard Ultra Bee it replaced had less power and none of those. If an Ultra Bee for sale UK listing does not say HP, ask which bike it is.

The figures below are Sur-Ron UK’s published MY26 specification for the Ultra Bee HP. They are the numbers to check any other listing against.
- Motor: 24.5 kW peak in Turbo, 21.5 kW in Sport, 520 Nm at the rear wheel
- Top speed: 59 mph (95 km/h)
- Acceleration: 0–31 mph in 1.84 s, 0–50 mph in 3.7 s
- Battery: 74 V 60 Ah lithium-ion, 1000 W charger, 20–80% in 2.5 hours
- Range: up to 115 km (71.5 miles) at a steady 31 mph
- Weight: 88.5 kg kerb, 50:50 balance on a forged aluminium frame
- Suspension: 240 mm front travel, adjustable air rear shock
- Wheels: 19″ front (80/100-19), 18″ rear (100/90-18) off-road tyres
- Ground clearance / seat: 315 mm / 910 mm
- Drive: carbon-fibre-core primary belt on a tungsten-carbide-coated pulley
- Electronics: six power modes plus Turbo, three-level SRTC traction control, adjustable energy recovery, app with anti-theft and OTA updates
- Colours: Carbon Black, Desert Brown
Fact 2: X or T – the only decision that cannot be changed later
Same motor, same battery, same chassis. The HP X is off-road only; the HP T adds lights, mirrors, a horn, a plate mount and type approval as an A1-class motorcycle, so it can be registered and ridden on the road. An X cannot be converted into a T afterwards, so decide by where the bike will be ridden before you buy any Ultra Bee for sale UK-wide.
| Ultra Bee HP X | Ultra Bee HP T | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | £5,999 | £6,295 |
| Powertrain | 24.5 kW peak, 520 Nm, 74 V 60 Ah | Identical |
| Road legal | No – off-road only | Yes – A1-class motorcycle |
| Licence | None off-road | CBT from 17 with L-plates, or a full A1/A2/A licence |
| Registration and tax | None | DVLA registration with the certificate of conformity; £27 a year tax |
| Best for | Tracks, trails, private land | Riding to the trail, green lanes, commuting |
Fact 3: the prices – £5,999 and £6,295
At Surron E-Bikes the HP X is £5,999 and the HP T is £6,295, both including VAT, the 74 V 60 Ah battery, the 1000 W on-board charger, a pre-delivery inspection and a manufacturer warranty handled in our workshop. The T also comes with its certificate of conformity for DVLA registration. Benchmark any other Ultra Bee for sale UK price against those figures with the same inclusions.
| Listing | Fair? | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| £5,999 X / £6,295 T at an authorised dealer | Yes | Colour in stock, delivery cost, deposit option |
| “New” HP well under £5,700 | Caution | Import? UK charger? Warranty? CoC for a T? |
| £6,500+ “with PDI and delivery” | Overpriced | Inspection should be included; our delivery is £19.99 |
| Standard (non-HP) Ultra Bee | Older bike | Less power, no Turbo, no belt drive – price accordingly |
Fact 4: colours and how stock works
Both versions come in Carbon Black or Desert Brown at the same price. Bikes arrive from Sur-Ron’s UK distribution in batches, so a colour can be on the floor one week and gone the next; the product page shows what is physically in stock. If your combination is unavailable, message us – we usually know the next delivery date – and a 50% deposit will hold one from that batch.
A lot of customers reserve first and pay the rest later. Pay 50% by bank transfer or crypto, we take the bike off sale, and you clear the balance before delivery or collection – details are on our finance and reservations page. Message us before paying a deposit so we can confirm your colour is physically in stock.
Fact 5: how to pay 15% less
One more way to bring the price down: pay by cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum or USDT) and 15% is taken off automatically at checkout on any order over £400 – no code to enter, and you see the discount in the total before you place the order. Bank transfer is the other option; card payments are not taken online.
On an Ultra Bee HP that is £900 off the X and £944 off the T – the largest saving available on a new, UK-supplied bike, and it applies to any parts in the same order.

Tell us X or T, the colour and your postcode. We confirm stock, the delivered price and the crypto saving in one reply.

Fact 6: delivery, collection and the inspection
Every Ultra Bee HP we sell goes through the workshop before it leaves: battery charged, brakes bled and checked, spokes and bearings inspected, every fastener we can reach torque-checked and the controller verified on the current settings. It is why our bikes arrive ready to ride rather than ready to assemble.
Bikes are delivered in our own dedicated van – £19.99 within 150 miles of LE67 2QE, quoted before you pay if you are further away – and we agree the date with you before anything moves. Collection from the showroom is free and we walk you round the bike before you leave. Full terms are on the delivery and returns page.
Delivery day is short and practical. The driver unloads the bike, shows you the battery and charger, runs through the modes and leaves you the invoice with serial numbers. Photograph it and store the battery indoors that night – two habits that protect the bike and your insurance.
Fact 7: licence and law for each version
The HP X is a motocross bike in law: private land with permission, pay-and-play venues and tracks, never the road. The HP T is a registered A1-class motorcycle: from 17 on a CBT with L-plates, or on a full A1, A2 or A licence, with insurance, DVLA registration using the certificate of conformity and £27 a year in tax. GOV.UK lists the licence categories.
- Licence: CBT from 17 with L-plates, or a full A1/A2/A licence.
- Insurance on the frame number before registration.
- Register: V55/4, certificate of conformity, ID, £55 fee, £27 tax.
- Plate from a registered supplier on the factory mount.
Finding somewhere to ride is easier than it used to be. Search for motocross practice tracks and pay-and-play venues within an hour of you, phone to check they accept electric bikes and the rider’s age group, and ask about electric-only or youth sessions – many venues now run them because electric bikes solve their noise problem. Youth motocross clubs affiliated to the ACU are the other route, and club membership usually includes third-party cover.
Fact 8: what a used Ultra Bee for sale UK-wide is worth
Used HP bikes are still rare; used standard Ultra Bees are more common. A cared-for HP with its invoice, on-board charger and a healthy battery sells for 75–85% of new; a standard Ultra Bee for £3,500–£4,500 depending on battery and paperwork; a T without its V5C is an off-road bike, whatever the seller says. Ask for a battery health read-out – on a 74 V 60 Ah pack it is the single most valuable ten minutes you will spend.
- Invoice with serial numbers and a UK-plug charger.
- Battery health read-out and storage history.
- V5C for a T; CoC if it was never registered.
- Frame, forks, belt, chain, brakes, spokes and bearings.
Buying an Ultra Bee for sale UK-wide from Surron E-Bikes
- Tell us which Ultra Bee HP you want – online through the listing, by WhatsApp, or in person.
- Decide whether you want it delivered (our van covers 150 miles from Coalville for £19.99) or whether you will collect it for free.
- Settle the invoice by bank transfer, using the details we email you, or in crypto if you prefer.
- Leave the rest to the workshop: inspection, charge, torque check, then a delivery date or a “ready to collect” message, all inside 24 hours of payment clearing.
The difference between a dealer and a box-shifter shows up after the sale. We are an authorised Sur-Ron dealer: the bike arrives through official UK distribution, we inspect and charge it in our own workshop, we stock the parts it will need over its life, and warranty claims are dealt with by the people who sold it to you. Our warranty page explains what is covered.
If you want to see a bike first, book a showroom visit. We are in Coalville, Leicestershire, easy to reach from the M1 and M42, with parking outside the door.
The showroom and workshop are in Coalville, Leicestershire (LE67 2QE), ten minutes from junction 22 of the M1 and close to the M42, which puts Leicester, Nottingham, Derby and Birmingham within forty minutes and London, Manchester, Sheffield and Bristol within about two hours. We are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with parking outside the door. Book a visit and we will have the bike you are interested in ready to sit on.
Maintenance is minimal by design. Brake pads, chain tension, sprockets, tyres and a torque check are the whole routine, and our workshop will do an annual check while you wait if you would rather not. A charge of the 74 V 60 Ah battery takes about 2.5 hours from 20% to 80% and costs well under a pound.
Treat the battery like a phone you care about: room-temperature charging, no long periods completely flat, half charge for storage. Every Ultra Bee HP battery we have seen fail early had been left empty in a cold shed for months; every one that has been looked after is still going strong.

Ultra Bee for sale UK: questions we get asked
- “Is there an Ultra Bee for sale UK-wide on finance?” We offer a 50% deposit reservation rather than credit; the balance is paid before delivery.
- “Can I buy an Ultra Bee for sale UK-spec and ride it home?” Only the T, and only once it is registered, insured and plated. Have it delivered, or collect it in a van.
- “Is the HP too much bike for me?” The lowest of six modes is gentle and traction control is excellent, but it is 88.5 kg with a 910 mm seat. Sit on one first.
- “Which sells faster, black or brown?” Desert Brown, by some margin.
- “Do you list every Ultra Bee for sale UK stock you hold?” Yes – the product page shows live stock by model and colour.

- Charge the battery fully indoors and fit it until it clicks.
- Check tyre pressures, the chain tension and that both brakes bite firmly.
- Set the seat height so the rider can get a foot down, and select Mode 1.
- Ride slowly on flat ground first – the throttle is instant and there is no clutch to modulate it.
- Step up a mode only when the rider is bored of the current one, not before.
