Prices are correct at the time of writing; check the Ultra Bee HP product page for live stock by model and colour before you buy Surron Ultra Bee HP 2026 if you are reading this later.

Step 1 – Decide X or T before you buy Surron Ultra Bee HP 2026
The HP X and HP T share the same 24.5 kW motor, 520 Nm, 74 V 60 Ah battery, 240 mm forks and forged frame. The X is off-road only; the T adds lights, mirrors, a horn, a plate mount and L3e type approval so it can be registered. If you will ever ride it on the road, buy the T; if it will live at the track, the X saves £296 and a little weight.

Step 2 – Choose a colour
Both versions come in Carbon Black or Desert Brown. There is no price or spec difference. Black hides scuffs; brown photographs better and sells out first. Stock arrives in batches, so if your combination is unavailable, message us for the next delivery date and reserve it with a deposit.
Step 3 – Check the price and what is included
At Surron E-Bikes the 2026 Ultra Bee HP X is £5,999 and the HP T is £6,295, both including VAT. Each comes with the 74 V 60 Ah battery, the 1000 W charger that stows on the bike, a pre-delivery inspection, a manufacturer warranty handled in our workshop and an invoice with serial numbers. The T also comes with its certificate of conformity.

Step 4 – Order online, on WhatsApp or in the showroom
- Pick your colour and model on the Ultra Bee HP product page and add the bike to your basket, or message us on WhatsApp with what you want.
- Choose delivery in our own van (£19.99 within 150 miles of our LE67 postcode, quoted beyond that) or free collection from the showroom in Coalville.
- Pay by bank transfer or cryptocurrency. We never print bank details on the website; they are emailed to you from contact@surronebike.org once you have ordered.
- We confirm payment, carry out the pre-delivery inspection and either book your delivery date or tell you the bike is ready to collect. Orders are processed within 24 hours.
If you would rather secure a bike now and pay the balance a little later, our reservation plan lets you hold a Ultra Bee HP with a 50% deposit. There is no credit application and no waiting for a decision: you pay half, the bike comes off sale, and the remaining 50% is paid before delivery or collection on a date agreed with you.
Ready to buy Surron Ultra Bee HP 2026?
Tell us X or T, the colour and your postcode; we will confirm stock, the delivered price and a date, usually the same day.
Step 5 – Delivery, collection and the inspection
Every Ultra Bee HP we sell goes through the workshop before it leaves: battery charged, brakes bled and checked, spokes and bearings inspected, every fastener we can reach torque-checked and the controller verified on the current settings. It is why our bikes arrive ready to ride rather than ready to assemble.
Bikes are delivered in our own dedicated van – £19.99 within 150 miles of LE67 2QE, quoted before you pay if you are further away – and we agree the date with you before anything moves. Collection from the showroom is free and we walk you round the bike before you leave. Full terms are on the delivery and returns page.
On hand-over – at the showroom or from the van – we show you how the battery locks in and lifts out, how the charger connects, how to switch ride modes, and where the serial numbers are. It takes ten minutes and it saves a lot of messages later. If the rider is there, we set the seat height and pick a starting mode with them.

Step 6 – For the T: licence, insurance and registration
Two homologations, one bike. The Ultra Bee HP X is off-road only: no type approval, no registration, private land and venues with permission. The Ultra Bee HP T is type-approved as an L3e motorcycle in the A1 (125-equivalent) class, so it can be registered with the DVLA, taxed, insured and ridden on the road – from 17 on a provisional licence with a CBT and L-plates, or on a full A1, A2 or A licence. GOV.UK lists the licence categories.
Fitting lights to an X does not make it a T. Type approval is a factory process, and it is the certificate of conformity that comes with the T that lets the DVLA register it.
- Licence: CBT from 17 with L-plates, or a full A1, A2 or A licence.
- Insurance on the frame number from the invoice, before registration.
- DVLA registration: form V55/4, the certificate of conformity, ID, the £55 first registration fee and £27 tax.
- Number plate from a registered supplier, fitted to the factory mount; L-plates if on a CBT.
Step 7 – Kit, storage and the first ride
The Ultra Bee HP does 0–31 mph in 1.84 seconds and 59 mph flat out. Treat the first ride accordingly: start in the lowest of the six power modes with traction control on its highest level, and leave Turbo for when you know the bike.
- Charge the battery fully indoors and fit it until it clicks.
- Check tyre pressures, the chain tension and that both brakes bite firmly.
- Set the seat height so the rider can get a foot down, and select Mode 1.
- Ride slowly on flat ground first – the throttle is instant and there is no clutch to modulate it.
- Step up a mode only when the rider is bored of the current one, not before.
- Helmet, goggles, gloves and boots as the minimum, whatever the rider’s age.
- Body armour for anyone riding tracks or jumps.
- Somewhere secure and dry to store the bike, with the battery charged indoors.
- Landowner permission, in writing if it is not an obvious venue.
Running costs are close to nothing. A full charge of the 74 V 60 Ah battery costs pence at domestic electricity rates, there is no oil, no filters, no spark plugs and no clutch, and the consumables are the same as any small off-road bike: brake pads, chain and sprockets, tyres and the odd wheel bearing, all of which we stock as genuine Ultra Bee HP parts.
The battery is the part to look after. Charge it indoors at room temperature (about 2.5 hours from 20% to 80%), avoid leaving it flat for weeks, and store it around half charge if the bike is being put away for winter. Treated that way it will comfortably outlast the wear items around it.

Why buy Surron Ultra Bee HP 2026 from Surron E-Bikes
Surron E-Bikes is an authorised Sur-Ron dealer with a showroom and workshop in Coalville, Leicestershire, ten minutes off the M1. Every bike we sell is UK-supplied, pre-delivery inspected by our own technicians, and covered by a manufacturer warranty that is handled here rather than by posting parts abroad. We also carry one of the largest genuine Sur-Ron parts ranges in the country, so servicing and upgrades happen in one place.
We are also a third-party webshop that stocks selected products from other brands with their consent, which is why you will see more than one name in the catalogue. For the bikes themselves, though, the process is the same: one price, one workshop, one point of contact on WhatsApp or email.
The near-silent motor is a real advantage when it comes to venues. Tracks close to housing that limit petrol sessions will often run extra electric sessions, and a landowner who would never allow a two-stroke on the farm will frequently say yes to a bike that makes no more noise than a mountain bike. Ask, and take the answer in writing if it is not a formal venue.
The showroom and workshop are in Coalville, Leicestershire (LE67 2QE), ten minutes from junction 22 of the M1 and close to the M42, which puts Leicester, Nottingham, Derby and Birmingham within forty minutes and London, Manchester, Sheffield and Bristol within about two hours. We are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with parking outside the door. Book a visit and we will have the bike you are interested in ready to sit on.

Buy Surron Ultra Bee HP 2026: questions from the showroom
The questions we hear right before someone decides to buy Surron Ultra Bee HP 2026, answered the way we answer them at the counter.
- “Should I buy Surron Ultra Bee HP 2026 or the standard Ultra Bee?” The HP: more power, Turbo, better brakes, belt drive, 18-inch rear. The standard bike is superseded.
- “Can I buy Surron Ultra Bee HP 2026 X and register it later?” No. Only the T has type approval.
- “Is it too much for me?” The lowest of six modes is gentle and traction control is excellent, but it is 88.5 kg with a 910 mm seat. Ride one first if you are unsure.
- “If I buy Surron Ultra Bee HP 2026 T, can I ride it on my car licence?” Only with a CBT and L-plates, or a full A1/A2/A licence.
- “What is the wait?” In stock: processed within 24 hours, delivered within days. Next delivery: we give you the date before you pay a deposit.
If any of the terminology is new, here is a quick glossary:
- PDI – pre-delivery inspection: the checks a dealer makes before the bike leaves.
- Big Wheel / Small Wheel – the two Hyper Bee wheel formats, 14/12 and 12/10 inches.
- Ride modes – selectable power levels; Mode 1 is the gentlest.
- EAPC – electrically assisted pedal cycle, the 250 W legal e-bike category the Sur-Ron range is not part of.
- L1e – the EU/UK moped vehicle class; the Light Bee L1E is type-approved in it.
- Grey import – a bike bought abroad and shipped privately, usually without a UK warranty.
- Certificate of conformity – the document needed to register a type-approved bike with the DVLA.
- Energy recovery – regenerative braking that puts charge back into the battery on a closed throttle.
