What’s new on the 2026 Ultra Bee HP

The HP is a real step up from the standard Ultra Bee, not a colour change. A new motor and controller lift peak output to 24.5 kW, and a Turbo riding mode joins the six selectable power modes. The Sur-Ron Traction Control System (SRTC) now has three levels to keep the rear wheel hooked up, and adjustable energy recovery lets you tune how hard the bike regenerates when you shut the throttle.

The chassis moves on too. The new 18″ rear wheel wears a chunkier tyre, the custom suspension gives 240 mm of usable travel, and the brake callipers are 90% stiffer for a more positive lever. The primary drive uses a carbon-fibre-core belt on a tungsten-carbide-coated pulley, and the charger now stows on the bike. The Surron app adds ride data, location-based anti-theft and over-the-air updates.

Ultra Bee HP X or Ultra Bee HP T: which one should you buy?

Same powertrain, two homologations. The Ultra Bee HP X is off-road only: no lights, no plate, ready for trails, tracks and private land the day it arrives. The Ultra Bee HP T is the road-legal version with lights, mirrors, a horn and the paperwork to register it, so you can ride to the trail instead of trailering to it.
