The Surron Hyper Bee price is one of the most searched questions about the bike, and the short answer is £2,995 including VAT for the 2026 Big Wheel from an authorised UK dealer. The longer answer – what that figure includes, why some listings are cheaper, what a used one is worth, how to pay less and what it costs to own afterwards – is this guide, written by Surron E-Bikes in Coalville, Leicestershire.
Prices are correct at the time of writing; the Hyper Bee product page always shows the live figure and stock by colour.

Fact 1: the Surron Hyper Bee price is £2,995, and it is the same in every colour
At Surron E-Bikes the 2026 Hyper Bee Big Wheel costs £2,995 including VAT in Hyper Blue, Fetch Light Green, Storm Pink and Surron Yellow. There is no premium for a particular colour, no set-up fee and no “PDI charge” added at the till. That is the figure to hold every other Surron Hyper Bee price against, because it is what a UK-supplied, warranted, inspected bike costs.
| What the £2,995 includes | |
|---|---|
| Bike | 2026 Sur-Ron Hyper Bee Big Wheel (14/12), any of four colours |
| Battery | 58 V 22 Ah removable lithium pack |
| Charger | UK-plug factory charger (20–80% in about two hours) |
| Pre-delivery inspection | Torque check, brakes bled, spokes, bearings, charge, controller settings |
| Warranty | Manufacturer warranty handled in our Coalville workshop |
| Paperwork | Invoice with frame and battery serial numbers for insurance |

Fact 2: why some listings show a lower Surron Hyper Bee price
Search for the bike and you will find “new” Hyper Bees advertised at £2,600–£2,800. Almost all of them are one of three things: a grey import bought abroad and shipped privately, a drop-shipped marketplace listing from a seller who never sees the bike, or a price that quietly excludes VAT. In each case the saving comes out of something you would otherwise get: a UK charger, a warranty that is honoured here, an inspection, and someone to call.
- Grey import: no UK warranty; often an EU or US charger; shipping, duty and VAT added at the border.
- Drop-ship listing: no workshop, no parts, no inspection; the price is the whole relationship.
- Ex-VAT price: add 20% and the gap disappears.
- Older stock: a 2024 or 2025 bike sold as “new” – check the model year and firmware.
A fair Surron Hyper Bee price for a new bike is £2,995 with everything included. Anything much below that needs a question or two.
Fact 3: what a used Surron Hyper Bee is worth
Used, the Surron Hyper Bee price runs from roughly £1,600 to £2,500. The battery decides where in that range a bike sits: a pack that has been charged indoors and stored around half charge will last for years, while one left flat in a cold shed may have lost a large slice of its capacity for good. Ask for a battery health read-out – our workshop can do one – and ask to see the original invoice and UK charger.
| Used Surron Hyper Bee price | Typical | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 2025–26, cared for, with invoice and UK charger | £2,200–£2,500 | Close to new; check the battery anyway |
| 2024–25, average condition | £1,800–£2,200 | Budget for pads, chain and possibly tyres |
| No paperwork, odd charger, tired battery | £1,600 or less | A replacement battery can wipe out the saving |
Against a new bike at £2,995 with a warranty and an inspection, a clean used one at £2,300 is a smaller saving than it looks – and a tired one at £1,700 can end up dearer.
Fact 4: how to pay less than the list Surron Hyper Bee price
One more way to bring the price down: pay by cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum or USDT) and 15% is taken off automatically at checkout on any order over £400 – no code to enter, and you see the discount in the total before you place the order. Bank transfer is the other option; card payments are not taken online.
On a £2,995 Hyper Bee that is £449 off, bringing the bike to £2,546 before delivery. It is the biggest single saving available on a new, UK-supplied Hyper Bee, and it applies to bikes, parts and accessories in the same order.
Not ready to pay the full £2,995 today? A 50% deposit takes a specific Hyper Bee off sale and holds it for you; the balance is settled before the bike leaves us. It is a simple reservation arrangement rather than a finance agreement, so there is no credit search and nothing to be approved.

Fact 5: delivery, collection and what it adds to the Surron Hyper Bee price
Delivery is handled by us, not a parcel courier. Once your payment clears the Hyper Bee is inspected, charged and loaded into our van; within 150 miles of Coalville that costs £19.99, and for longer trips we quote first. Free collection is always available, and we will show you the charger, the battery removal and the ride modes before you head home.
You will hear from us at every stage – confirmation, a date, and a message on the day – and our delivery page covers the small print on damage, returns and cancellations.
| Extra | Cost |
|---|---|
| Van delivery within 150 miles of Coalville | £19.99 |
| Van delivery further afield | Quoted before you pay |
| Collection from the showroom | Free |
| Registration, tax, MOT | None – off-road only |

Fact 6: what it costs to run after the Surron Hyper Bee price is paid
What it really costs to own a Hyper Bee over a year, beyond the purchase price:
| Cost | Hyper Bee |
|---|---|
| Bike | £2,995 inc. VAT |
| Delivery / collection | £19.99 within 150 miles / free |
| Registration, tax, MOT | None – off-road only |
| Electricity per full charge | A few pence |
| Consumables per season | Pads, chain lube, occasionally a chain and sprockets |
| Optional off-road insurance | Typically well under £100 a year |
| Annual workshop check | Available while you wait |
Owning a Hyper Bee costs a fraction of running a petrol equivalent. The 58 V 22 Ah pack charges in about two hours from 20% to 80% from a normal socket for pennies, and there is no engine oil, no air filter, no valve clearances and no clutch to replace. What wears is brake pads, the chain and sprockets and tyres – stocked in our Hyper Bee parts range.
Battery care is the whole maintenance story. Keep it between roughly 20% and 80% when it is not being used, do not charge it while it is still hot from a hard ride, and never leave it empty over winter. Do that and the pack will hold its capacity for years.
Add a helmet, gloves, boots and a chest protector if the rider does not already have them, and a decent lock. There is nothing else: no fuel, no oil, no tax, no MOT.
Surron Hyper Bee price vs the rest of the range
The Hyper Bee is the cheapest way into a Sur-Ron. If the rider is taller than about 1.5 m, or an adult who wants to ride regularly, the Light Bee X is the next step up.
| Bike | Peak power | Weight | Range | Road legal | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hyper Bee 2026 | 8 kW | 39 kg | 56 km | No | £2,995 |
| Light Bee X 2026 | 10 kW | 59 kg | 75 km | No | From £3,295 |
| Light Bee L1E 2026 | 10 kW | 62 kg | 75 km | Yes – L1e moped | £4,499 |
| Ultra Bee HP 2026 | 24.5 kW | 88.5 kg | 115 km | HP T only | From £5,999 |
Whichever you choose, the same rules apply: UK-spec, warranty, inspection, and a real price that includes everything.

Buying from Surron E-Bikes
- Tell us which Hyper Bee you want – online through the listing, by WhatsApp, or in person.
- Decide whether you want it delivered (our van covers 150 miles from Coalville for £19.99) or whether you will collect it for free.
- Settle the invoice by bank transfer, using the details we email you, or in crypto if you prefer.
- Leave the rest to the workshop: inspection, charge, torque check, then a delivery date or a “ready to collect” message, all inside 24 hours of payment clearing.
The difference between a dealer and a box-shifter shows up after the sale. We are an authorised Sur-Ron dealer: the bike arrives through official UK distribution, we inspect and charge it in our own workshop, we stock the parts it will need over its life, and warranty claims are dealt with by the people who sold it to you. Our warranty page explains what is covered.
If you want to see a bike first, book a showroom visit. We are in Coalville, Leicestershire, easy to reach from the M1 and M42, with parking outside the door.
If you are anywhere in the Midlands we are probably closer than you think: Coalville sits between Leicester and Burton, a few minutes off the M1 at junction 22. Come and compare the bikes side by side, ask the workshop anything, pick up parts and, if you decide to buy, take the bike away the same day if it is in stock. Contact us first so we can have the right colour on the floor.
The Hyper Bee is not road legal in the UK and no dealer can make it so. It does not meet the electrically assisted pedal cycle rules – there are no pedals and it is far more powerful than 250 W – and it has no type approval as a moped or motorcycle. It is a purpose-built off-road machine and is sold on that basis.

Surron Hyper Bee price: questions we get asked
- “Is the Surron Hyper Bee price going up?” Prices are set by Sur-Ron’s UK distribution and rarely move mid-year; stock of popular colours is what changes.
- “Does the Surron Hyper Bee price include a warranty?” Yes – a manufacturer warranty handled in our workshop, on every UK-supplied bike.
- “Is the Small Wheel cheaper?” We stock the Big Wheel; wheel kits are sold separately if you want to convert.
- “Can I split the Surron Hyper Bee price into a deposit and a balance?” Yes – 50% reserves the bike, the rest is paid before delivery.
- “What about riding kit?” Not included; helmet, gloves, boots and a chest protector are the minimum.
The near-silent motor is a real advantage when it comes to venues. Tracks close to housing that limit petrol sessions will often run extra electric sessions, and a landowner who would never allow a two-stroke on the farm will frequently say yes to a bike that makes no more noise than a mountain bike. Ask, and take the answer in writing if it is not a formal venue.
- Read the ride-mode and battery sections of the manual – it takes ten minutes.
- Start in the lowest mode on open ground with no obstacles.
- Practise stopping: the front brake is powerful and the bike is light.
- Keep the first sessions short and finish before the rider is tired.
- Check the bolts after the first few rides; new bikes settle.
Surron Hyper Bee price: the short version

- Pay in crypto for 15% off (£449); reserve with 50% if you need time.
- Delivery £19.99 within 150 miles of Coalville; collection free; nothing to tax or register.
On hand-over – at the showroom or from the van – we show you how the battery locks in and lifts out, how the charger connects, how to switch ride modes, and where the serial numbers are. It takes ten minutes and it saves a lot of messages later. If the rider is there, we set the seat height and pick a starting mode with them.
A few terms that come up in every conversation about these bikes:
- PDI – pre-delivery inspection: the checks a dealer makes before the bike leaves.
- Big Wheel / Small Wheel – the two Hyper Bee wheel formats, 14/12 and 12/10 inches.
- Ride modes – selectable power levels; Mode 1 is the gentlest.
- EAPC – electrically assisted pedal cycle, the 250 W legal e-bike category the Sur-Ron range is not part of.
- L1e – the EU/UK moped vehicle class; the Light Bee L1E is type-approved in it.
- Grey import – a bike bought abroad and shipped privately, usually without a UK warranty.
- Certificate of conformity – the document needed to register a type-approved bike with the DVLA.
- Energy recovery – regenerative braking that puts charge back into the battery on a closed throttle.
